THE WEDDING INDUSTRY AWARDS
At the TWIA's, two nominees in each category are awarded - either a win or highly commended. I didn't win (boooooo), but I sure as shit am certified HIGHLY COMMENDED!
OK, I’ll keep it 100% with you… This is a little bit of a cheat. 👀I wasn’t able to actually attend the award ceremony (super bummed about not being there). I missed out on the industry mingle and my award presentation moment.😥 So with the sashay of my magic mouse and the powers of Photoshop… Voila!
The Process
After entering with shakey hands (I’ve NEVER done anything like this before), I had to collect votes, ratings and comments from previous clients, which got me to the finals, after which, there were several profile questions to answer in the judges round and before I knew it, it awards night!
While the ceremony was happening in Worthing I was watching were possible on Insta Live -when the email with ‘Congratulations’ landed in my inbox! The house turned into a little midnight rave lol! I’ve still not celebrated how I should have, but there’s time. A great achievement, to be recognised within the industry by my peers and supported by my Dappers & Brides. My clients are the bee’s knees. #Facts
